Who we are

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, phone number, email address and the address of the property we are attending.
• Job details — what the problem is, what work was carried out and what hardware was fitted.
• Proof of entitlement — we may record that ID was checked. We do not retain copies of ID documents.
• Website data — if analytics or advertising tools are enabled, standard usage data such as pages visited and approximate location.

Why we collect it

To dispatch an engineer to the right address, to keep a record of the work carried out, to provide warranty support on work we have done, to supply documentation to your insurer where you ask us to, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary: our engineers, our accountant, and — at your request — your insurer or managing agent. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Job records are kept for six years to meet UK accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@primelocksmiths.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
